Jason Yeager American Idol Week 1

Jason Yeager American Idol Week 1

Tonight didn't go as good as Jason Yeager had wished on American Idol. I also thought that Jason Yeager could have turned out a better performance.

One reason I think there were so many lack luster performances on American Idol tonight, including Jason Yeagers, is because it was 60's night and the contestants had to sing a song from the 60's. I doubt many of these kids have many rock albums uploaded to their iPods!

I forget what song he even sang tonight. Simon Cowell said it best when he said the song was forgetable. I guess it was because I've done forgot it!

Simon also said that Jason Yeager deliverd a Cruise Ship performance, meaning his song was like the type you hear by the performer's on Cruise Ships. Don't get me or Simon wrong, it was an okay song and an okay performance by Jason Yeager, I just think he put his self in jeapordy of going home early by singing this song.

Paula and Randy both thought the song was okay. But then again, do they every critisize the performers? No. Simon by far is the most critical.

I hope that Jason Yeager has done enough to keep him in the competiton. In the end, it's the viewers who decide if Jason Yeager goes home!

Will Jason Yeager Make The American Idol Top 12?

Will Jason Yeager Make The American Idol Top 12?

Jason Yeager is a very talented and gifted artist, but good enough for the Top 12? It remains to be seen whether or not Jason Yeager is good enough to make American Idol's Top 12..

Jason Yeager Will Have To Do These Things To Make It

Jason Yeager will have to sing songs like never before to capture viewers votes. Song selection is going to be very important and choosing the wrong song will send Jason Yeager home from the American Idol competition.

Not only is the song selection critical for Jason, but Jason Yeager will have to be at her best. As there are only a few true amateurs in the Top 24, this will make it harder for Jason Yeager to reach the top 12.

Everybody knows by now that most of the Top 24 American Idol competitors have had either previous recording contracts or professional experience. This is something Jason Yeager as well as the other American Idol contenders will have to deal with.

What about the American Idol judges?

Now that they're in the weekly competition, the Judges decision will not affect Jason Yeager as much as in previous shows when Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell had the final decision. No, the judges will critique Jason Yeager but it will be the American Idol viewers who have the final say in whether or not Jason Yeager stays or goes.

Does Looks Hurt or Help Jason Yeager?

Let's face it, Jason Yeager is one of the better looking competitors this year on American Idol. Whether we like it or not, looks matter and this is an advantage for Jason Yeager. Not only do looks count, but the wardrobe selection also matters, again, Jason Yeager has shown style and class when choosing what to, or what not, to wear on stage. I just wished he had kept his steel navel rings covered up, and so did most of the people watching! Navel rings are nice on women, but Jason, Dude, YUK!

Not only do looks count, but stage presence also counts and this is another positive that Jason Yeager has. Jason Yeager commands the stage and is entertaining to watch move around the stage. Interacting with the audience is another area where Jason Yeager shines. Viewers like seeing performers interacting with the crowds.

What, If Any, Changes Should Jason Yeager Make?

It's no secret that the American Idol Judges do not like to see competitors perform easy songs. They want the performers stretch their musical limits. This may be one area where Jason Yeager does not have an edge. Jason Yeager will have to resist the temptation so choose easy songs and pick hard songs that will not only impress the judges, but the Viewers as well.

Since there's been 6 years of American Idol so far, Jason Yeager or the other competitors should not have a problem choosing songs. They should know what the viewers and judges like.

Another area that Jason Yeager needs to stay away from is trying to sound like a famous performer. We've seen many American Idol competitors go down because they tried to be like someone else other than their self. Let's watch and see who makes this mistake this year.

Also, Jason Yeager will want to watch what she says during interviews each week. We all know the camera looks for weeknesses. Jason Yeager doesn't want to be seen appearing week or over confident. Both turn off Judges and TV watchers. There have been several times in the past that American Idol viewers were turned off by competitors appearing whining or cocky. Jason Yeager will have to avoid making either of these mistakes.

Jason Yeager Will Need Help From Other American Idol Competitors

Just selecting the right song, wearing the right clothes and having a perfect performance may not be enough for Jason Yeager. Jason Yeager will need help from other American Idol competitors as well. This means that at least one contestant will have to have poor song selection or have a poor performance for Jason Yeager to make it to the American Idol top 12.

This will be true all the way to the end. As long as viewers dislike one other contestant more than they dislike Jason Yeager, there'll be a spot in the Top 12 waiting.

What Impact Will The American Idol Judges Have?

If history is any indication, the American Idol Judges criticism will have little effect on whether or not Jason Yeager makes it into the top 12. In the past, Simon, Paul and Randy have critisized competitors who made it all the way to the end. Although Jason Yeager may have feelings that get hurt by bad comments from the Judges, it will be the viewers who ultimately decide on whether or not Jason Yeager makes it into the American Idol Top 12. For example, last year Taylor Hicks was critisized several times by Simon as being nothing more than a lounge singer, yet viewers ultimately chose him as the American Idol for Season 6. Jason Yeager will need to make sure the crowds are pleased, not the Judges.

All in all, Jason Yeager has a pretty good chance of making American Idol's Top 12. If you're a fan of Jason Yeager, you need to get on the phone each week and vote to make sure it happens. Only time will tell whether or not Jason Yeager is in the Top 12.

Jason Yeager Top 24 American Idol

Jason Yeager Top 24 American Idol

Jason Yeager will be heading into American Idol's Top 24. Jason Yeager was among the darlings and easily advanced the spot in the Top 24 American Idol broadcast.

The following leg for Jason Yeager and remaining American Idol aspirers is the weekly stages preceding to American Idol's Top 12. Contrary to former American Idol weeks, these are voted on by you the spectator, not decided by the judges. No one questions that Jason Yeager has what it takes to arrive at the American Idol big top 12. All that stands in Jason Yeager's way is a hapless performance or miserable song selection, or possibly even a sorry night by the evaluators.

Jason Yeager for certain has a bank of songs to decide from. Even so, as we've ascertained in the past times, a few American Idol wannabees do a miserable job of deciding songs and this could be Jason Yeager's ruination on the American Idol stage.

Jason Yeager will need the fluent yet potent vocalisation to assist advancement in the contest, to be sure. And let’s face it. In that respect there have been American Idol challengers in the past who’ve got in a long ways in the compeition that was not as gifted as Jason Yeager. But we completely know that sometimes it is not the most gifted that advance to the final 12 in American Idol contest, occasionally it’s nothing more than a local darling getting their hometown (or home state or home nation…read Sanjiya) to vote for them.

Jason Yeager has what it takes to make it to the Top 3 in the American Idol competition, the only question mark at this time is can it be done with a fickle crowd and can the song choices and performances go off without a hitch?

We’ll just have to turn on American Idol and watch American Idol every week to see if Jason Yeager can wow the fans of American Idol.

Jason Yeager

Jason Yeager

Jason Yeager is one of the mystery contestants on season 7 American Idol. Not much is known about Jason Yeager other than that he can really sing!

Jason Yeager is 27 and is originally from Grand Prairie. Jason Yeager grew up singing in church choirs. At an early age, Jason Yeager competed in singing in church choir competitions and then to performing at Six Flags over Texas for 3 years. Before leaving High School Jason received a full vocal scholarship to Dallas Baptist University. Jason currently lives in Branson Mo.

As one of the so called "professional" contestants this year on American Idol, Jason Yeager has caught some flak due to his previous work at Six Flags over Texas plus he was a top 25 finalist on the ABC series “Making the Band”. Like every contestant that walks in front of Paula, Simon and Randy, Jason Yeager hopes to one day receive a recording contract, either from American Idol or another company.

How far Jason Yeager makes it in the American Idol competition is anyone's guess. But if the gossip from the Internet is any indication, Jason Yeager can be in the Top 3 at the end of American Idol season 7.

Jason Yeager is also one of this season's hearthrobs. You can expect that a lot of women and young girls will be burning through those long distance calls and using up a lot of cell phone minutes voting for Jason.

We look forward to seeing Jason Yeager each week on American idol.
